Checkout owns Purchase Orders — items, prices, quantities, currency and tax validation, and calculated totals — and the Checkout Transactions created when a buyer initiates payment, stored in Checkout's own PostgreSQL database. Consent tracking ensures required consents are accepted before checkout proceeds.
